Van Dieden Dairy
2018 Southeast Area Member of Distinction
Born in the Netherlands, Arne van Dieden grew up on a dairy, but the limited growth opportunities in his home country led him to America. He decided to move to Texas and start his own dairy with 35 cows. Slowly growing his milking herd to 700, Arne, his wife, Ingrid, and their four children were suddenly faced with a choice in 2015 after a tornado struck the farm. After sustaining damage to their barn, the family had to think creatively to continue milking. With each other’s support and perseverance, the van Dieden family rebuilt their barn. Now, they proudly supply milk to their local school system.
